As part of the Virtusa Foundation's CSR initiative, RED ANT STUDIO LLP was entrusted with Project Management Consultancy for the development of two new computer laboratories at the Government Hobart Higher Secondary School for Muslim Girls. The intervention was aimed at creating a contemporary digital learning environment capable of supporting practical computer education for a larger number of students in a government school setting.
The project involved the execution and coordination of two fully equipped computer laboratories, each accommodating 20 workstations, with a total capacity of 40 computer systems. The interiors were planned to provide efficient circulation, clear sightlines for instruction, comfortable workstation spacing, and durable finishes suitable for high daily usage. Neutral materials, warm accent colours, integrated lighting, and carefully coordinated furniture contribute to a bright and welcoming learning environment while maintaining ease of maintenance.
As Project Management Consultants, RED ANT STUDIO LLP oversaw the project from execution through completion, coordinating between the client, CSR partner, consultants, and contractors to ensure quality, timelines, and specification compliance. The completed laboratories now provide a modern digital infrastructure that enhances computer literacy and creates an engaging educational environment for the students of Government Hobart Higher Secondary School for Muslim Girls.
