Located at the far corner of the school campus, the project transforms a previously isolated part of the site into a vibrant learning destination. Rather than treating the building as a standalone utility block, the design establishes a strong identity through a generous brick arch that creates a welcoming entrance and encourages students to naturally gravitate towards the facility.
The building accommodates two dedicated computer laboratories, with the girls' laboratory on the ground floor and the boys' laboratory on the first floor, each designed to house 30 computer workstations. Supporting spaces are carefully planned to ensure efficient circulation while maintaining clear supervision and ease of access.
A defining architectural feature is the double-height brick arch, which gives the building a distinctive civic character while providing shade to the entrance. The brick jaali wall overlooking the first-floor lobby promotes natural ventilation, filters daylight, and reduces heat gain, creating a comfortable transition space without relying solely on mechanical ventilation. The exposed brickwork, white plastered surfaces, and clean geometric forms combine to create a timeless architectural language that is both contemporary and contextually appropriate for a government educational institution.
Despite its modest footprint, the project demonstrates how thoughtful architectural interventions can transform an overlooked corner of a campus into an inviting, well-ventilated, and inspiring environment that supports digital learning for future generations.
