The Day Care Centre at Bala Mandir Kamaraj Trust, Chennai, involved the renovation, upgradation, and extension of an existing facility to create a more functional and child-centric environment. RA Studio LLP served as the Project Management Consultant (PMC), overseeing the entire planning, coordination, and execution phases.

The project comprises a G+1 structure with a total built-up area of 4,900 sq.ft. — where the ground floor underwent selective civil modifications and interior refurbishments, while a new first-floor block was constructed to accommodate additional activity and learning spaces.

Through meticulous project management, the work ensured seamless integration between the old and new structures, maintaining both aesthetic coherence and functional efficiency. The renovated centre now provides a safe, engaging, and well-designed environment that supports the institution’s mission of holistic child development.
